Excessive traffic
Dangerous amount of cars
Danger to wildlife
Character of the village
Council blind to issues at house on Stripes Hill.
Less housing as the strain of more cars from these new homes plus making the school entrance less accessible will lead to accidents.
The character and environment matter.
The school plan is based upon the funding from the development of a further 600 homes. Knowle is a village and allowing for this and the Hampton Road development is excessive development. The infrastructure even with provision of traffic lights etc will not cope with the excessive traffic - based on most households have at least 2 cars. The land where the work is taking place on stripes Hill has been subject to trees being removed and a fire which has left it an easier path for development. Whilst I agree the school is dated the build of 600 houses upon wildlife is also morally wrong. You will loose the character of knowle just for the money.
