With Covid-19 running rife, high street shops and department stores closing, and office blocks remaining empty (eg. opposite Morrisons – refer Maguire & Co.), I can see no merit in demolishing houses on the corner of Station Road to build even more office blocks !
Therefore, if it is the Council’s intention to provide more living accommodation in the centre of Solihull I cannot see why these empty buildings/spaces cannot be utilised (as was the BT Telephone Exchange on the corner of Station Road and the office block on Streetsbrook Road next to The Travel Lodge).
