Representation Summary:

Need to ensure that education contributions made by developers through the Community Infrastructure Levy are sufficient to cover the increase in demand for school places that is likely to be generated by a development. When new schools are developed, local authorities should also seek to safeguard land for any future expansion where demand indicates this might be necessary.
Ensuring there is an adequate supply school sites is essential and will ensure that Solihull MBC can swiftly and flexibly respond to the existing and future need for school places to meet the needs of the borough over the plan period.
