Policy P9 has much to say about climate change BUT where is the monitoring and reporting on the performance the council within the last plan and what is the direction of travel for the borough? The plan supports the expansion of the airport BUT fails to recognise that the aviation sector is a contributor to climate change. How are those emissions factored into the monitoring and reporting within this plan for example. Why have no minimum standards been set to reduce greenhouse gas emissions as mentioned in the sustainability appraisal?
