Draft Local Plan - Supplementary Consultation

Representation ID: 6906

Received: 02/03/2019

Respondent: Mr Lee Treadwell

Representation Summary:

The site represents one of the last areas of open green space in the north of the borough, developing this space causes more problems than it solves. The additional housing can't be supplemented by the required infrastructure such as schools and medical facilities as there just isn't the room. It is a short term solution to one problem without clear forethought. The playing field is used by several sporting clubs and other groups too, without this facility a lot of these groups will cease to exist. Surely reinstating the school is the most sensible solution in this instance.
