Representation Summary:

- The covenant which states that the land must be used for sports uses should be honoured. This understanding was made in good faith by Solihull Council who are now honour bound to maintain this.
- Adverse impact on the growth and future of Arden tennis club and safety of users. Similar sports facilities are lacking in the area.
- Density would be out of keeping with surrounding area and would destroy the existing character and distinctiveness of the area.
- Development would destroy local wildlife habitat. Particularly nesting buzzards which have recently returned to the site.
- Increased pressure on drainage system which is to capacity.
- Pressure the inadequate school & medical places in the area.
- Additional traffic added to the congestion on Sharmans Cross Road would pose an additional threat to the Health and Safety of pedestrians.
