Any development in this area will have knock-on effects in the Shirley area where road conditions are already chaotic and overcrowded - especially along Stratford Road and the retail park and car dealer areas.
Shirley seems to have born the brunt of the housing plans which is grossly unfair as there have already been developments in that area which have adversely affected traffic flows, parking demand and school/medical services.
There should be a much fairer spread on other areas of the borough.
It does appear that the more wealthy areas have been spared whilst Shirley is being "dumped-on"
