Draft Local Plan - Supplementary Consultation

Representation ID: 8054

Received: 13/03/2019

Respondent: Mrs Christine Thorp

Representation Summary:

Relocating is not feasible if you take Green Belt and existing wildlife corridors between open spaces away. It is therefore essential that existing sites eg. Site 13 in Shirley should be protected as a nature reserve. The Site 26 is also important as a link for the movement of wildlife from Site 13 as they are interlinked. If the land is lost to us for recreation and fitness then it will also be lost for the wild life.
