(117) Local Housing Need
Paragraph 60 of the NPPF indicates that the standard methodology should be used to arrive at the Local Housing Need "unless exceptional circumstances justify an alternative approach". In calculating the Borough's own needs, the Council does not believe there are any exceptional circumstances that justify a departure from the standard methodology.
